Corrosion in duct work and
bag houses.

PROBLEM: Corrosion, caused
by hot, humid and corrosive gases passing through
the ash duct work system and bag houses.
SOLUTION: Appropriate surface
preparation (inclusive of near white metal blast
to 3-5 mil profile, holes in steel repaired as
required). Spray application of
FlakeRez 303 flake-filled, vinyl ester novolac
resin coating, which is heat, chemical and corrosion
resistant. Two coats applied to total average
of 35 mils DFT.
PRODUCT DETAILS:
FlakeRez 303, a two component, flake-filled vinyl
ester novolac resin coating for primary and secondary
containment, resists higher concentrations of acids
and solvents, where most other coatings fail. The
FlakeRez coatings contain glass and select inert
flake reinforcement for dependability in maintaining
their overlapping structure. This product
offers long-term reliability due to extremely low
permeation rate of the overlapping flake structure. Maximum
operating Temperature range (dry) is 350-400ºF.
